At Pacific Hills School, the BRUIN Fund is our annual giving of immediate and direct financial support to the day to day operations of the school that help carry out our mission. Your financial gifts to the BRUIN Fund are put to immediate use for the benefit of all students for academic programs, student scholarships, technology, equipment, faculty development and help to maintain the school environment.
PHS is more than just a school…we are all apart of a large warm and supportive family working to provide the best opportunities for every student to achieve academic success. PHS students spend as many as seven years with us preparing for the future. On the day of graduation, all staff, faculty and administrators attend to share that emotional day with you and celebrate the student's academic success. The desire to learn continues to grow; lifelong friendships are formed; and as the years go on, relationships continue to endure. As a result, the PHS diploma is more than proof of graduation---it opens up a larger network to help young people get into college, graduate, land a first job and continue in the journey of life.
Gifts can be made by cash, credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) or by check or money order (made payable to Pacific Hills School). Please send your check or money order to:

Every gift makes a difference, regardless of size. We are a small independent school that depends upon private support. In addition, PHS needs 100% participation from everyone to enable the school to present a strong appeal for grants from foundations. We encourage everyone, regardless of the amount, be it, $5, $10 or $20 to make a financial commitment in support of our school.
Yes. And, virtually all foundations will ask for data concerning the level of participation of our parents made to the BRUIN Fund(annual giving). Parents of an independent school are the most important benefactors of annual giving. Therefore, PHS needs 100% participation of everyone to enable the school to present a strong appeal for grants from foundations. We encourage everyone, regardless of the amount, to make a financial commitment in support of all students at PHS.
In any school that is more than 15 years old, parents of previous generations of students provided gifts to fund the resources your child enjoys today. As the saying goes, all children are warmed by the fires built by others at PHS. We encourage you to continue the PHS legacy of giving toward enhancements that build the school’s long-term reputation for academic success in college preparatory education which will always benefit your child as an adult.
Every gift makes a difference; regardless of size, its demonstrates your commitment to the mission of PHS. Collectively, every gift will impact the bottom line of providing educational resources for the benefit of all students. In addition, 100% participation of parents creates a very strong appeal for foundation support to PHS.
